Traditionally yoga was taught on an individual basis in India, ensuring the instruction suited the needs of the students at that time. This principle reminds us that we are all unique, no two bodies are the same and we all have different needs depending on our physical & mental state at the time depending on circumstances.
My approach to teaching is to truly understand and respect where my students are and to design specific class plans that fit each individual needs all within a safe environment.
The sessions are tailored to your requests and draw influence from the following styles:
-Vinyasa (active, warming, sweaty flow)
-Yin & Restorative (slow, meditative, deep stretch)
-Adaptive/Chair (practices adapted for injuries, disabilities, beginners, seniors)
-Pilates (strong core centered practice)
